After that we did a little grocery shopping and then walked around downtown a while. It was nice and sunny and warm and just a relief to be outdoors. We visited a matress store and found out that tempur-pedic beds cast $1200 for a twin bed, that we can get a normal twin set for less teh $200 and that they don't carry bunk bed sets. I also found out that my litlte guys like to run around like noisey idiot children when inside large open stores. I'm surprized they didn't ask me not to bring them back.
We also visited a party supply store. NOt the kind of store I would open, it seems awfully specialiezed for such a small population base. They stock balloons in all colors, helium and party favors. But, we bought helium balloon for each kid and went home. Two had died before nap time. But really, for less then a dollar each, the balloons offer so much fun.
So, today my baby boy turned two. It seems like just a minute ago he was a sweet little new born baby. He really has been a perfect baby. Now, he's trying out being a perfect two year old. Meaning he's foudn his voice and his will and is trying to put both to use. Its cute and wonderful, even if it means he isn't as easy going as he used to be.
We didn't have a party today, we will have a birthday party next weekend or when ever that damn tax refund shows up. They are gonna get bunked, so noah will get a big kid bed and Gideon will get the top bunk. I think they will like it.

mommy sobbed just a little bit and still does when ever she realizes how big her "baby" is.
